Bike Week 2012

Help Us Celebrate!

With spring in the air, the City of Manhattan proclaims that May is National Bike Month, April 29th – May 5th is Bike to Work Week and Tuesday, May 1st is Bike to Work Day. Mayor Sherow and Mayor Pro Tem Pepperd urge everyone to bike to work or try cycling for fun, fitness or transportation. Participating cyclists should visit at for a list of events happening in the area. Biking to work is an efficient and fun way to get the exercise you need, without having to find extra time to work out. And this year, with gasoline prices as high as they are, biking to work makes more sense than ever.
